AJ Consultants has been retained by a challenger bank focused on the intersection of banking and Fintech, to find their next Chief Risk Officer. This role reports to the CEO and Board. This is a confidential search.

The CRO will lead and oversee the direction, governance, and execution of the risk department, while helping grow groups focused on specific projects across the organization, especially as it relates to Enterprise Risk.  This key role will lead the Office of Risk Management (including compliance) for our client. The CRO will also be responsible for the execution of a risk management program and associated activities working directly with the boards risk and compliance committees. The right candidate will create the ERM platform and ensure that risk management is happening at all levels effectively across the landscape.
