AJ Consultants is pleased to announce the successful completion of two executive leadership searches for MVB Financial Corp., with the appointments of Mike Sumbs as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Jonathan Logan as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

Jonathan Logan joins MVB from William Penn Bank, where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO since 2020, overseeing all financial, accounting, and regulatory functions. A Certified Public Accountant, Mike’s background includes senior financial leadership roles at Beneficial Bank and deep expertise in corporate finance, compliance, and operational oversight. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Susquehanna University.

Mike Sumbs comes to MVB from Raymond James & Associates, where he most recently served as a Director in the financial services practice. His career spans leadership positions at Macquarie Capital and Yadkin Financial Corporation, with early experience at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. Jonathan holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

With the addition of Mike and Jonathan to the executive team, MVB strengthens its leadership bench to continue driving forward as a dynamic player in the space.
