AJ Consultants was proud to partner once again with Capital Bank N.A. to successfully complete the search for their Chief Operating Officer. After a nationwide search that involved many strong candidates, Jay Como was chosen for the role.

Como will oversee enterprise operations with a focus on modernizing processes and expanding the use of data, automation, and AI to improve efficiency. He brings decades of financial services experience, including leadership roles at  T. Rowe Price, Barclays and Silicon Valley Bank. This move supports Capital Bank’s continued growth strategy by strengthening operational systems and enhancing customer service through technology.

Como holds an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California, completed the Securities Industry Institute executive program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and also earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Phoenix.
